Board Members

Ryan Kimberlin
Ryan Kimberlin, board chairman, lives in Covington, TX, and is a member of Osceola Christian Fellowship. Ryan has served multiple terms as songleader in the church. In the past, he has sung with Oasis Chorale, attended SCMC three years, and has sung masterworks such as Handel’s Messiah and Brahms’s Requiem in local choirs. He completed his Bachelor of Music (vocal/conducting emphasis) in 2020. Ryan currently teaches choir, piano, music history, math, and general history at Osceola Christian School.

Gordon Amstutz
Gordon Amstutz, board vice-chairman, resides in Bamberg, SC. He has served as the director of Barnwell Mennonite Chorale and the Barnwell Area Men’s Chorus. Gordon has also been involved in Barnwell Christian School, wearing the hats of music teacher, board chairman, and administrator. Currently, Gordon’s responsiblities include serving as lead pastor of Edisto Mennonite Church, assistant administrator at Barnwell Christian School, and a member of the Southeast Christian Education Seminar planning committee. Gordon makes his livelihood as a professional auctioneer and a sales representative for Innovative Poultry Products.

Kyle Stoltzfus
Kyle Stoltzfus, board secretary, hails from Guys Mills, PA. Kyle is the academic dean at Faith Builders Training Institute: he gives guidance to the learning that happens inside and outside the classroom. Kyle’s interests have led him through graduate studies in church history and theology and into the classroom as a teacher. In addition, Kyle is a pastor at Shalom Mennonite Church in Cochranton, PA. When he’s not busied by these activities, you’ll find Kyle with his wife Marlene and four children gardening, cutting firewood, and otherwise tinkering outdoors.

Gabriel Eash
Gabriel, board treasurer, lives in Plain City, OH with his wife and six children. He attends church at Bethesda Fellowship where he has served as chorister a number of times. For occupation, he is a branch manager of Miller Portables, a portable restroom company. When not working or spending time with his family, he enjoys music, hunting, disc golf, and other sports. Gabriel is a former music camp student and retains many special memories of his times there, one of which is meeting his wife. He attended camp four times and participated in the touring choir twice. Additionally, he has sung with various men’s choirs including Heart and Voice and enjoyed directing a church choir.

Adin Stoltzfoos
Adin Stoltzfoos is from Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, where he lives with his wife Heidi and five children. He is a member of Cornerstone Mennonite Church, and has been involved with his local Cornerstone Mennonite School for many years as a board member and part-time teacher. He has also had teaching experience at Faith Mennonite High School and Calvary Bible School. As a member of the Conservative Anabaptist Education Committee, he helps to coordinate educational efforts on behalf of Anabaptist schools. He nurses his interests in education, history, culture, and music with reading, travel, and observation. Adin is a retail manager in a bulk food store and loves making and selling hot sauce as a side hobby.

Kenneth Martin
Kenneth Martin has been with SCMC since the beginning. He lives in Harrisonburg, VA, and is a member of Redeemer Christian Fellowship. In the past, Kenneth has taught music and choir at SMBI and local schools, and has served on the administrative team at Heritage Bible School. Currently, he stays busy being a father, managing his family farm business, a greenhouse business, and a poultry farm. Kenneth also owns and operates a small composting / recycling business.

James Troyer
James Troyer lives in West Tennessee and is a member of Whiteville Mennonite Church. He has a life-long interest in poetry and hymn texts. He lived for many years in Central America, where he was involved in writing, translating, and publishing Spanish hymns. He is ordained as a deacon, currently on sabbatical. As an occupation he operates a small carpentry / construction business. He enjoys poetry, theology, and occasionally singing on choirs. He and his wife Irene have four children, and they enjoy traveling, wood-working, and hobby farming.

Wendell Nisly is executive director of SCMC, as well as an instructor at the music camps.

Regina Brubaker
Regina Brubaker is the Curriculum Writer for Sing for Joy, and also provides instruction at music camps.

Jeanene Nisly
Jeanene Nisly is bookkeeper for SCMC Central.

Corianna Meyer
Corianna Meyer is Administrative Assistant at SCMC Central.
